The Niagara River is a Great Lakes connecting channel and an International Boundary Water. The Niagara River also contains Niagara Falls, one of the worlds most spectacular and most-visited waterfalls. The Lower Niagara River flows through an impressive, scenic, deeply cut gorge for much of its length downstream of the Falls.
