HOW DO I RETURN AN ITEM?

At Map Geek, we get excited about maps, however we understand that sometimes, the reality of an online map purchase is that when you get the map, it may be different than you expected. If that is the case, then by following these simple steps, you can send your order back to us and receive a refund, replacement, or suggestion for the right map.

1st: Contact us and let us know what item you are seeking to return so we can advise you as to how quickly we can provide a refund or if the item is not eligible. Email Map Geek customer service at orders@mapgeek.com .

In general, we can easily refund most returns of folded travel maps, and we cannot refund most wall maps (the difference between pre-printed and print-on-demand).

While Map Geek is unable to refund shipping costs, we will gladly refund the cost of products returned in their original and 100% re-sellable condition within thirty (30) days of receipt, with the following exceptions:

  • A 20% restocking fee will apply to all Globes, Mounted and Framed maps and bulk orders of 20 or more of a single map item.
  • Personalized Products are non-returnable,/non-refundable. This includes all wall maps offering a selection of custom print sizes or paper treatments.
  • Bulk orders of 50 units or more of a single map title are non-returnable,/non-refundable. We can ship a copy for review prior to purchase.
  • Previously mounted, staple holes, push-pin holes or any other alteration are non-returnable,/non-refundable.
  • Items that arrive at Map Geek damaged due to improper return packaging are non-returnable,/non-refundable.
  • Items that are returned to Map Geek that are not pre-authorized are non-returnable,/non-refundable.
  • International Orders cannot be returned.
