At 2,873 acres, North Pond is a part of the famed Belgrade Lakes system. Located near the southern Somerset County town of Smithfield, North Pond has a maximum recorded depth of just 18 feet. Access to North Pond is available at a small, state-owned, public boat launch site on Bog Stream. This site is suitable primarily for small boats and parking is limited.
