This lake's significant water level fluctuationsare both good and bad for anglers. On the plus side, drawdowns allow habitat to grow and provide good spawning areas. On the flipside, it occasionally forces the fish into deeper waters where they are harder to find. The lake record largemouth is 13 pounds, 15 ounces, but most average 1.5 to 2 pounds.
