Nothing electronic about them but they are the real deal: waterproof and practically idiot-proof as well, they're always ready when you call on them. The map details are so many I use a magnifying glass to glean all information possible. That is likely due to my senior eyesight, rather than any fault with the map itself. The only criticism I might have is that I always prefer one lake/one map, making everything a bit easier to see. But I'll take it while it is still available and before everything good ends up sole property of some satellite-guided service. Thanks to Kingfisher Maps for a great product.
