Located on the United States and Mexican border and fed by the Rio Grande River, Falcon Lake has been a consistent producer of big largemouth bass and fantastic catfish for decades. The Falcon Dam, which was completed in 1953, provides the surrounding areas with irrigation, power, conservation and flood control. Since being impounded, Falcon Lake has become one of the countrys premier destinations to catch trophy largemouth bass.
