The United Republic of Tanzania is located in Eastern Africa and was formed out of the union of two states namely Tanganyika and Zanzibar.
Tanzania borders Kenya and Uganda to the north, Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the West, and Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique to the South. The Countrys eastern borders lie on the Indian Ocean.
Dar es Salaam is the Countrys Capital and a major seaport for the Country and its landlocked neighbours.
