The Country is bordered by Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi and Congo. The Country if dominated by mountains in the west, savanna in the east, and lakes throughout.
The economy is based mostly on subsistence agriculture. Coffee and tea are major cash crops for export. Tourism is a fast growing sector and is now the countrys leading foreign exchange earner, the most popular activity being the mountain gorillas
